Privacy
PDF4ALL reads and processes PDFs in your browser. Files are not uploaded, and the app does not keep a copy after you leave.
Your files
When you drop a PDF or image onto a tool, the browser reads it locally. Merge, split, organize, image conversion, and compression all run in a background thread on your device. PDF4ALL has no server that receives document bytes.
Finished files are offered as a download in this tab. Object URLs are revoked when you start over or leave the page. Closing the tab discards the in-memory copy.
What is stored
After the first visit, a service worker may cache the app’s scripts, styles, and fonts so the next visit loads faster. It does not cache your documents. Hashed build files can stay in the browser cache. HTML is requested from the network first.
Ads and referrals
Advertising and affiliate blocks stay empty unless an ad client or affiliate switch is turned on in the site configuration. If those are enabled later, the ad network or the site you click through to can set its own cookies. That is separate from PDF processing, which still does not upload the file.
